hello!

I’m Abeeha, a Pakistani-Irish freelance illustrator and educator, currently based in the UK.

Drawing since I could hold a crayon, I’ve always loved to create. I’m a self-taught artist, and really started reconnecting with that side of me in 2019. I began working as a professional illustrator in 2021 and since then have worked on a variety of projects and children’s publications.

Growing up, I wish I had seen more books and art that depicted human beings, of all shades, from all places and cultures. That’s why I aim to show a wide variety of characters and cultures, through my own playful and whimsical style. My work is characterised by diverse characters; vibrant colours, shapes and textures; and a line-less painterly style.
